Shipping and delivery
We make every piece by hand and send it carefully protected inside its case.
Where we ship
We ship anywhere in Spain: the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, the Balearics, Ceuta and Melilla. Islands other than Tenerife and Gran Canaria may need one or two working days more.
Orders to the Canaries carry no IVA (mainland Spanish VAT): the price you see already includes the 7% IGIC, with no surprises at the end of your purchase.
If your address is outside the Canaries, read further down what is worth knowing about customs before you buy.
Rates and delivery times
- Within the Canaries: €5.95 — delivered in 2-4 working days. Free from €60.
- Rest of Spain (mainland, the Balearics, Ceuta and Melilla): €11.95 — delivered in usually 7-10 working days: customs sometimes hold the parcel a few days longer. Free from €90.
That time is split between making your piece ready (1-2 working days) and transport (1-2 working days). We do not count Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
Getting your order ready
We work every piece by hand, so getting it ready takes 1-2 working days. Orders that reach us before 12:00 go into that same working day’s batch; later ones, into the next day’s. Orders placed at the weekend or on a public holiday are handled on the next working day.
Tracking
When your order leaves our workshop you will get a shipping confirmation email with the carrier’s tracking details. You can check the status of your orders in your account.
If something does not go as expected
- Your order has not arrived on time: write to us with your order number and we will chase the carrier ourselves.
- The address was wrong: tell us as soon as you can. If the order has not left yet, we correct it at no cost; if it is already out for delivery, we will have to wait for it to come back to us before sending it again.
- The parcel arrived damaged: take a photo before opening it fully and send it to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will take care of it.
Shipping outside the Canaries: customs
Your order leaves from Gran Canaria. The Canaries are part of the European Union, but they sit outside its VAT territory: that is why a parcel entering mainland Spain, the Balearics, Ceuta or Melilla goes through customs. It is not an exception, nor a problem with the delivery: it is the normal procedure, and it is worth knowing about before you buy.
- The carrier may ask you for import IVA and a customs handling fee on delivery. They are not included in the price, we do not charge them and they are paid by whoever receives the order. The amount is set by customs and the carrier, not by the shop, so we cannot tell you in advance how much it will be.
- If the parcel is not collected or is refused at customs, it comes back to our workshop. In that case we deduct from the refund the return costs the carrier charges us.
- Clearance can add one or two days to the delivery time. It does not depend on us and we cannot speed it up.
Your 14 days to return do not change because we ship outside the Canaries: we refund the price of the pieces and, if you return the whole order, the standard shipping you paid as well. The taxes you pay at customs never reach us, so we cannot refund them. All the detail is in Returns.
Any doubts before buying? Write to us through the contact page and we will tell you what we know about your area.
Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return or exchange your piece. All the details are on the returns and exchanges page.
